Hi! I’m Amelia and I’m a photographer based in Chicago by way of Davao City Philippines. I’m the kind photographer drawn to moments that feel alive. Real, unposed, and happening right in front of you. My work moves between concerts, photojournalism, and studio, always chasing that same sense of motion and honesty. In May 2022, I held my first month-long exhibit, Notes on Being in Motion, a reflection on movement, change, and the fleeting nature of connection. I’m constantly exploring how light, sound, and energy translate into images that feel like you’re right there in the moment. My cross-cultural background is one of my greatest strengths in my approach to photography whether it’s being especially empathetic to my subjects or understanding the importance of your special moments.
